It all started with a vacation to Universal Studios in Hollywood California in Sept of 2000. I visited a store called "Things from Another World" located at Universal CityWalk. It was there that I re-discovered my love for modeling. Located on the shelf were models produced by a company called - Polar Lights by Playing Mantis.

A model that first caught my eye was an Aurora re-issue of the Guillotine that I used to have as a kid over 30 years ago. It was wrapped in a box that had box art that looked familiar to me. Next to that was a box with " The Bride of Frankenstein" on it. After close inspection of the boxes I noticed that they were really plastic models and not action figures that were back in production!

 And the rest is history.

This is a site where you can travel back in time and look at some model kits from the past and present. In the near future featured in the galleries will be kits from AURORA, POLAR LIGHTS, TOY BIZ, REVELL-MONOGRAM, AMT/ERTL and others. I hope you enjoy looking at the kits as much as I've enjoyed building them.
