This is a re-make of the Aurora original (1962-1968) and really has alot of detail to it.
The kit went together rather well. The tricky part was getting the ring to fit on his finger. It didn't size real well and had to be carved inside to slip onto his finger.
The bats are painted brown with black wings.
I chose to use the Testors enamels on this as that is how I painted it as a child. There is something "classic" about the glossy paints that gives me the feeling I had sitting at the table building it as a kid. It's probably just trying to get the lids unsealed from the top of the bottles!
This was a fun kit to build and very easy for the youngsters to handle as well. This kit is a must for every monster collection!
