This is a re-issue of the Aurora classic model of 1965-66 which was reproduced by Polar Lights. There is a lot of detail to this kit that really make this kit come to life. I tried to make the bottles on the lab table look like they had some kind of bubbling green potion in them and stuffed a cotton ball in the big round one to simulate "smoke" inside. There were alot of small buttons that I tried to bring out like the dial on the voltage generator and the pins on the body straps.
Here are a few other views of the entire model.
This was the first modeling attempt of my revived hobby after 30 years from being away from it. I chose to paint over the "glow" pieces to get a more realistic look.
This was a great kit to construct. I never had this one as a kid and always wanted to build it. I had a blast using the Testors paints on this as it brought back many memories for me.
