A Classic Universal Studios Monster

This is a re-issue of the classic Aurora model of the Creature From the Black Lagoon!

I like the overall build on this model except for the way the head halves line up. It had a big bump and gap in the back. This was a big problem and it needed to be sanded down and puttied to make the ridge look right! It turned out well once that was done!

Here is a closer look at the base..... I tried dry brushing some of the water to make it look like water breaking on the rocks. This technique turned out looking GREAT!

I enjoyed building this one as I did when I was a kid some 30 plus years ago.
